Solid Waste Haulers rolls a seven for anniversary
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Thanks to Brenda Will for the information for this column. And doggone it, we forgot to ask if her business card reads, "Where there's a Will, there's a way."
Turns out Miz Will is public information director for Solid Waste Haulers, which has on office on Laguna Street just off the south end of the Cinco Bayou Bridge in Cinco Bayou.
Led by CEO Todd Schweizer (that's his photo on this page) this company is celebrating its seventh anniversary. It employs about 20 people, including some in an office in the Biloxi-Gulfport area of Mississippi. It has 24 trucks that carry construction debris containers from Panama City to Pensacola and in Mississippi.
Since the recent downturn in the housing market, Solid Waste Haulers has shared challenges with other businesses connected with construction.
"We have been fortunate in having a strong group of team members that have solidified a loyal customer base," Schweizer stated in a press release. "Without either of those components, we would not have made it past seven months, let alone seven years. We are very proud of the family of employees and customers we have at Solid Waste Haulers, and with a continued dedication to competitive pricing and excellent customer service, we expect to be in business for at least another seven years."
